I moved to Saint Paul In Dec. of 2000. I was in a treatment center in Philly and the director though this half way house would help. I planned on staying the three months and getting the hell out. But then I met Chris, his family practically adopted me and we became engaged. But the last two years of our relationship was awful. My eating disorder was out of control and he was a severe alcoholic and meth addict. He comes from an amazing family so I reached out to his mom and he got into Hazelton. I went off to The Renfrew Center in Florida to treat my ED. Afterwords we realized we we weren't meant for each other and broke up. But the best part??? He is my best friend and I am a bridesmaid in his current fiances wedding. I still go to Christmas and Thanksgiving with their family. My family was royally screwed. I had to get a four year restraining order against my father. He got remarried but since then, neither my sister, me or my brother talk to him. And with him out of the pic, my mom, sis, and bro have become very close. And I have a new baby nephew who I love more than life!!!!! So I desperately want to work the program and stay sober so that I can show up for life with them..... that's me in a nut shell.....any questions, feel free to ask!!!!Interact
