I have a website where I share everything I’ve learnt over the years, in my journey of recovery.
I’m a 50 yr old woman in
recovery from addiction.
My using spanned virtually all my adult life; with bouts of clean-time sprinkled here and there. The longest being 12 years.
...Yes I am clean now...and I have the most amazing life and have done for some now.
I have worked with young adults on the margins of society, as a counsellor.
I have been a psychotherapist supporting women fleeing domestic violence.
I have also worked in homeless hostels for 10 years supporting using addicts and alcoholics.
I hold a masters degree in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy, which is psychotherapy using all the arts as well as talking.
I believe I have a purpose and that I’ve been kept alive for a reason. I believe, strongly that that reason is to help others.
