    when i moved to lousiana was the first time i had a fig off a tree....and fig preserves! both are yum!! fig newton's can't compare, but i like those too!

    Figs are OK, but without a doubt dates are one of my favorites. My mom would make date bars for Christmas that were out of this world. I never really looked into it but I didn't know they came from CA.
