Addicted to beauty treatments

    I guess you're right. Plastic surgery addiction is a deeper problem. And I think more than just addiction, that person might have self-esteem issues. It's one thing to change one area of your body. But to change it completely? That seems like some deeper esteem issues.

    I wouldn't consider that as an addiction because pedicures and manicures are just normal and mundane activities in life. I would say that they just want to feel good and pamper themselves. However, I would seriously consider invasive beauty treatments as an addiction.

    I think that these addictions to plastic surgery have something that trigger them, not just the need to redo something over and over again. The thing is that I know a person that is at their third nose job and that affected them on a lot of other levels. The way they got there is from a first surgery that was done on a budget at some local clinic that was not really specialised on that stuff. Then for five years they kept trying to correct the bad done job as it was messing with their self esteem and happiness in general. I would recommend doing research before cause there are amazing plastic surgeons out there full of experience, like the ones on here for example so you don't end up like that.
