I am a bit of a hoarder I guess. I have problems throwing out things. My children are grown and have families of their own but I still have their toys, clothes and books from when they were young. My grandchildren are using the stuff now. They think it's pretty cool that they get to play with things that were once their mom and dad's. I am not a hoarder in the fact that I buy things because I don't buy things I don't need. I just have a problem with getting rid of things I no longer need. I have closet filled with clothes that I no longer wear but I just can't part with them. Most of them don't even fit anymore but I keep thinking they might some day.

You are exactly like my MIL. She kept everything from my husband's childhood, his toys, books and clothes. They have a room full of stuff like this. She also has everything from receipts to old lotion bottles which are beyond expired. She grew up with nothing, struggled to have everything she has now. She worked and made her way through college on her own. Did you also experience the same childhood?
