Where are these street drugs coming from? How are they getting so many by the tons every minute? I heard and read from a "horse's mouth" about the secret answer to my curiosity: Where are meth, LSD, heroin, Ecstasy and speed coming from? This chilling revelation gives me goose bumps and utter disgust. Are these pharmaceutical companies, the drug-magnates, responsible for inventing, making and marketing these street drugs?

What do you say about this?

I have never trusted a pharmaceutical company and I plan on keeping it that way. There are too many shady things that occur within that industry. Any business that is negotiating a group of human beings' well being for money is considered an awful corporation to me.

Most illegal drugs are made in illegal laboratories. That doesn't mean that Big Pharma isn't responsible for millions of addictions all across the globe though. They have invented some of the most dangerous drugs out there and make billions of dollars cashing in on people's conditions.

I too was under the impression that most illegal drugs were made in illegal laboratories. I don't have a statistic or anything on that, but that's just always what I thought. I don't think big pharmaceutical companies are squeaky clean - @missbishi said it perfectly with the fact that like it or not, those companies are responsible for many a drug addiction out there, even if they didn't intend it.

I think it could be, due to production and also regulation is not too tight in some countries and also some Pharmacy companies just do it for profit and also not about the public health. There could be corruption going on as well and some companies could be dealing in shady ways or some people and turning the other way to get some money when they are not being paid to well in their job. I reckon that, there could be some part of the pharmacy companies and also maybe some underground or black market deals that happen.

I think that's jumping the gun to point the finger at the pharmaceutical companies. They are making millions off of prescription drugs, so there is no need to sell illegal drugs.

I don't give the slightest trust to pharmaceutical companies, either, but going on to say they produce illicit drugs is a bit too out-of-hand I'd say. I don't think they're responsible for this, just because some people put up chemical compounds, mix and create drugs.
The article seems thought out and is well written, but I don't trust it that much.
