If I recall correctly, he said it was okay, but not really his thing. We were foolish and young back then. He told me afterwards he won't try it again and won't become addicted for sure.
Indeed, you need clinical studies to prove your point at least. There are people who think they're already experts just because they've tried a particular drug a few times. Little knowledge is dangerous, as they say.
Yeah that can be dangerous since it doesn't make them experts necessarily but in their belief in me selves it's highly possible they'd be able to convince others of it as well. I think the best way to keep safe is to just be equipped with enough knowledge and rationality to be able to discern for yourself whether or not each situation is worth the risk or not.
I've personally done it only once, and didn't really appeal to me at the time. I must also mention that I didn't take it by veins, I smoked it, and there are reports that claim smoking heroin is less likely to cause addiction under any circumstances. I think that for me it was only that I didn't enjoy it is all...
It should definitely be different for everyone. Maybe someone can get addicted to it even from one time... I guess it depends on how he/she enjoyed it. If it has bean really good, then yes, there is a high chance you will want it a second time... and a third. Fortunately, there is a big difference between like it, want it and can't live without it.
I always wondered that because I do know that there are a lot of drugs that can get addicting on the first try. I'm wondering if these are one of them. I'm having a cousin who is addicted to it right now and I'm just trying to figure out why he lied about only doing it once if he's addicted.
In my case, I have a highly addictive personality. So pretty much after I felt the high from heroin the first time I was hooked and have been an IV user for years now. There are other people I know who don't have an addictive personality and only use it recreationally (maybe one weekend out of the month). It is just different for everyone. There is a difference between a light user, moderate user, heavy/binge user, and an addict.
I would think so. Not everyone is going to be addicted after 1 or 2 tries of any drug. But plenty of people get a taste for it almost immediately.
From what I understand, most people do NOT enjoy their first real encounter with h. Most people report nausea, feeling dizzy, and just overwhelmed, sweaty, uncoordinated, and icky. I don't think it's really a matter of having to "quit" after trying it once, just not trying it a second or third time...thats when things get crazy. In fact, like everyone I know says that they had to get used to puking after using...that is very common for people who have never tried it before...
It depends. You could get addicted to it depending if you enjoyed the sensation or not just by trying it the first time or you could hate how it was like and never try it again. Its really your call.
