Children getting into drugs

    When I say children I mean all who are under 18 years of age. Who has the present data showing the number of children engaging in drugs? Someone told me that the number of children taking drugs is increasing daily.

    Here is a link to the CDC which tracks such things. If you look, the numbers go up and down... 1997 the rates were higher for certain substances than for the current ones. But there is no evidence of some steep increase. I believe we just talk about it more than we did before.

    This is really a saddening fact for children, not that they get involved with the drugs, but the bottom of it that they are suffering from some psychological and emotional problems that aren't being addressed properly. And after that they become addicted to drugs, things just get to work and springs to worst eventually, until they can no longer resist their addiction and continuously damage themselves and damage other people by also influencing them to substance abuse.
