It is absolutely right that green tea is much better than coffee. We make it a habit at home to drink green tea a cup or two a day and we had already had tested its great health benefits. And one thing I am really not a coffee drinker ever since and for me water is the best and purest drink we should take everyday.
Almost everything has caffeine, sadly. So I am not surprised! I don't see caffeine as an enemy though, I actually take green tea supplements that are supposed to boost the metabolism, the side effect is a lot energy, but no jittery feelings for me
If you wish to have tea/coffee, but want to avoid caffeine you can try lemongrass tea, rose stem tea, jasmine tea, honey ginger tea, or hot lemon. These drinks do not contain caffeine because they do not contain tea (even though they are called tea).
I used to drink a lot of coffee every day but now there are days where it just makes me nauseous and it becomes the last thing that I want.
Wow. Tea has caffeine too. It has nicotine. So basically, tea is REALLY dangerous. I have been trying to quit coffee but its available close to my cubical at work and its free. At home I have a coffee machine in my bedroom which should tell you that I am an addict. The thing is, my work requires me to be "intelligent and sharp". I am trying to find alternatives to coffee all the time. I did try tea, but now I just found out on this forum that even that is not good. Please let me know of a way to quit, because I don't want to rely on some drink just to be able to do my best work!
I've not ever heard coffee is good for you. Maybe you want to look into that a little deeper. I've heard it will kill you; Jim Carrey in Batman. Lol Another guy called in a neurotoxin that destroys brain cells. I've heard it called a drug. Caffeine is on a list of drugs that the FBI & CIA use to manipulate people along with 75 or so other drugs. I know, it's shocking but it's not something that you can just make up. Look it up.
