Well, my older brother really looked ugly when he was using meth. I mean, his face really changed. He looked 10 years older. And mind you, before he abused meth, he had this "baby face." I'm the younger sibling but people around us always assumed that he was younger than me. But because of meth abuse, his features changed. It's a good thing that he was able to recover. He also recovered his good looks. Although, his speech is now a bit slurred. I sometimes have a hard time understanding what he's saying. That's one permanent effect of meth on him.
I think that unless u have lived ur life as a meth addict or have studied it just as intently as the addict and ur based soley on ur oppinion I shouldn't be so quick to analyze, I'm not saying criticize, but its been around me in my life for years. Used occasionally but it wasn't tills October 2015 I went in head first and trying hard to battle it! I know dozens on it and all very in extremes and symptoms or hoe fast it took them. Each very sad! I believe its evil and I will change! In four months Ive lost almost 40lbs thats thankfully my worst part physically. But Ive lost morals n my guilt will kill me before the drug. Ive hurt those I love and lost trust! My kids both within 2 years from 18 noticed n talked to me like I was the child! These scars, my friends, I believe r deeper n more everlasting... I'm good eith it tho cuz I'll remember why not to use! Hope u never try it... Its all it takes! Sad!!!
It is truly sad the condition that using meth leaves a person in. This drug has practically taken over my hometown and there are so many people that I have known for years that simply are not the same inside or out after battling this demon. I do not think that one can completely get back to their pre-meth use appearance after they have been on it for a long time. Some law enforcement departments use something called The Faces of Meth when they are putting on drug-free programs with the students in the school system. If you have never seen what meth can do to one's appearance, here are some pictures. Be prepared, it is truly heartbreaking. http://fav-meth-head-of-the-day.com/faces-of-meth/

How people stayed awake for weeks is something I can't do I've only been using I hate what it's done to my skin but I have no one but myself to blame.Does anyone know of a good home remedy I drink lots of water but lord I need help....
I just feel like such a dumbass .I guess I thought I was smarter then the rest of the world.I first smoked Meth 4 months ,my face has a green film on it I get what looks like hair sewed all over my body!! I've very recently quit smoking Meth and I'm drinking5 glasses of water a day .My face is starting to look half way normal .To soon to tell.
I'm glad you've quit smoking meth, @Scared sober. Glad your face is recovering, too. Keep doing the next right thing!
My bf is 43 but looks 50 shot out. Dehydrated. I get carded and my mom jokes if they think im his daughter
I am a recovering methamphetamine addict. My face started to break out extremely bad and that was one of the main reasons I've decided to quit. I was a heavy user for a year and a half on and off. I would stop myself from picking my face by scratching, itching, picking my head due to build up from my guess the chemicals trying to come out of your skin. gross yeah I know, I wouldn't even want to shave my head to see the scars but anyway ! I've been clean a week this time and I just started using face cleanser, toner, moisturizer a few days ago and trying to keep hydrated and I notice a fair differences already.. of course the detox process also consists of the chemicals coming out of your skin so the breakout was entirely expected, but try to break the habit of touching your face, picking or scratching... it's hard but so is any habit !! Hope this enlightens a few and just know, you're not alone and quitting is possible if you truly want to . Xoxo K-Lynn
I can tell who has used meth for quite a while. My niece was very smart and beautiful. Her looks just keep getting worse, she looks 48 instead of 28. She has lost most of her molars and it has made her face look like a shrunken apple. She thinks her heroin use is worse. She quits heroin by going on methadone, but insists she is off meth and benzos. I know she is still using. She is skinny, yellowish skin tone, rough reddened facial condition, waxy, and has lost all of her muscle tone. Even though she looks terrible she still attracts other meth addicts to get her drugs. She is an ace manipulator. One poor man even bought her a condo....
Yellowish skin tone is a clear sign of hepatitis C she has been sharing needles. She needs to see a Dr and go on Harvoni before the liver damage is irreversible. Stay Strong and God Bless
Hey, So I have been using drugs since I was 16 and I’m now 29. I recently had the desire to try crystal(snorting) and my weekly use of the drug confirmed everything I was told about it. Due to lack of sleep and dydration I aged 10 years in 2 days. It was highly addictive- not as compulsive as coke- but a longer shelf life. My body became highly enflamed. I thought I had a uti from an at home test, but when I went to my gyno for a more detailed test- I didn’t have a uti: I had severe inflammation and a large white blood cell count due to how dangerous the drug is. It’s taken over 5 days to recover. If someone is using crystal heavily for years- it was take years of sobriety and possibly plastic surgery to heal. Since my binge- I have been using aloe sheet masks daily and under eye masks. I have basically tried every drug and this drug in my opinion is the worst due to to how quick it destroys you. Also I was using high quality meth- so think about how damaging the low quality stuff is. I also forgot to do my hygiene and would rarely brush my teeth as night or wash my face. I bet if I used that stuff for a month I would look at least 40.
Thanks for your insight, @Blue62089. I hope your experience will motivate you to stay away from meth. It is a nasty drug, for sure.
