It is great to hear stories like yours, success! seems like you're pretty happy for what you have done, that is amazing but remember that this is a big fight that has just started, however 10 days is a lot, keep up the good work!

Oh yes, the fight has just begun. Today I have two weeks. I am having such a great time being sober. I am not depressed as often, and I wake up refreshed everyday excited for what's ahead. The creativity that I've unleashed is really neat. Seems like I was so bored because alcohol gave me tunnel vision. My list of sober activities has grown so much I can't possibly complete everything I think to do in a day! Enjoying my pink cloud!

It's really great to hear about that, if you have accomplished that in just 2 weeks imagine what you'll get with more time. Keep strong. ;)

I'd say two smiles per week right? I can imagine your post when she reaches 4 weeks! :)

That's great to see, congratulations and keep at it. Keeping yourself busy and keeping your mind focused on other things is the way to go. Keep reminding yourself that you can live a perfect life without alcohol and that there is plenty of gold at the end of the rainbow. Constantly reminding yourself of the benefits that an alcohol free life can have on not only you but those around you is a great way to keep going forward. Just keep calm and carry on.

Yeah, so true. Spending quality time with our kids beats drinking any time. ;)

Alright! You've made it from ten days to two weeks! That's some awesome clean time, girlfriend. And I totally agree that staying busy is a key element to sobriety. For me, the hard part is finding a balance between too much or too little structure. I tend to overdo it either way, so that nice middle ground is elusive. But I know when I'm there, because I'm happy. Keep us posted. I want to hear more clean times and how you're doing it.

Congrats and keep it up. :)
Keeping yourself busy can really help you avoid drinking during those hours. Good decision to stay sober and avoid drinking.

Congratulations on your success! You are now officially days and days ahead of those that don't try and that is really admirable! Getting busy is a wonderful strategy to stay away from it. Also, finding a new hobby is a good idea to consider. When you find something you love to do,vit naturally takes up a lot of time!
