I am currently on a regime of 4 psychological medications, no controlled substances. Is it legal for a psychiatrist to deny psychotrophic medication because of meth use?

@tbrown... I don't have a definitive answer to your question, but I'm pretty sure a doctor isn't obligated to write a patient a RX for meds. If your doctor feels you may be at risk by taking the meds she prescribes, I would think she would be within her rights to not prescribe them. That's just my $0.02. I could be wrong. Also, if you're on four psych meds, you may want to consider giving up meth. That combination probably isn't a good one.

Yes because you are self medicating with a very hard drug and meth counteracts with most medication. Get clean get your pills and do your thing.
