Drug abuse could somehow make a person feel delusional, paranoid, anxious, and depressed. It could really lead to a serious mental health problem once their addictions have already gotten the best of them.
There's a link between drug abuse and a number of psychotic disorders. On the extreme deep end though, long-term excessive drug abuse can make someone [permanently] insane. I know someone who smoked a lot of weed and it made him insane. It was permanent. So, yeah, drugs can make someone mad.
It sure can. Depending on the drug you use and how much of it you are using and how your body reacts to it. It can cause paranoia, anxiety, and depresseion along with a whole lot of other mental issues. It doesn't have to be hard drugs either. It can just be weed. I know many people over the years who have done permanent damage because of their drug use. It truly is a sad situation.
Not exactly... Drug abuse causes an alteration of your perception, but it's only until the drugs effects lasts. And drug abusers can obviously cause brain damage, I'm not sure what exactly happens but basically your brain is not working as the same way that it used to, and it can really damage your skills, but I'm not sure if you can get mad after using a lot of drugs, but I guess it's possible.
Yeah, it can lead to temporary and permanent brain damage and "madness". I knew someone who was taking Ecstasy and she told me that her doctor told her that it did some permanent damage to her brain. Even if you simply watch the news, some heinous crimes are commited when the perpetrators are under the influence of drugs.
I found that all drugs will bring out madness in people. If you are pre-disposed to a mental illness, drugs will bring it out even though you have it under control when no drinking/using. Hard drugs have clear evidence that they do cause issues like madness.
Drug abuse make people lazy. You find that most addicts are unable to perform simple duties. Many are unable to even take a shower or wash their clothes. Many people can take alcohol without eating. So drugs have more negative effects than positive ones.
