I need help finding a free low-cost free treatment tehab in carrollton ga. My son almost od'd two weeks ago. He went to a faith based rehab after detox but got sick. Just spent 4 days in the hospital. The rehab said they would take him back and not make him work until he could. That was yesterday. Today it is work or leave. We have to pick him up and have no place for him. A homeless shelter is out of the question. I've been where he is now. Anybody got any ideas?

@scaredmom... I plugged the Carrollton zip code into the SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration) Treatment Locator tool on their website. If you click on the link below, it should take you to the results of that search. If you click on "More Information" for the treatment facilities that show up, you'll see that some of them offer a sliding scale for payment, based on income and other factors. I think this would be a good starting point.

Let me know if you need more assistance and I'll see what I can find out.

    Sending good vibes your way.

I would like to share my experience about how i found free treatment or low cost hospitals, it happened when I went to a marathons in February i got a Rhabdomyolysis in my ankle while running, i felt really bad pain and i hardly walked home, i didn’t call the ambulance because i didn’t think it was need but in few hours it was getting worse and i decided to go to a hospital, i searched for best USA hospitals i didn’t want to go to any hospital while most of them are full of CoronaVirus, and i found this site which shows free and low cost hospitals around you.
