According to what I have read this drug has been around since 2002, this drug is injected directly on almost any area you want to. The effects of this drug on the body of the users is so bad that a krokodil user has a life expectancy of just 1 to 2 years max! It literally rots your flesh!!! I have seen pictures of the effects this drug has, and let me tell you they are graphic! You can search online if you want, but I am sure you will not like what you will see.

I really can't understand why people would use such a thing, they know that thing literally eats your flesh, even to the bone if you let it. This makes me wonder... has any of you ever known or heard of someone trying this horrible drug?

I've never even heard of this before. It sounds horrible. I wonder what could feel so great that its worth the side effects.

I saw this drug on the news a few years ago, at the time the effects were not heavily researched, but they new it was bad. I think many people who use or have tried it have no idea what they are I store for. The drug itself is compared to other stuff out there and there isn't a ton of information about it. I think people who try it are uninformed of its effects.

I’ve heard of it, but I’ve never known anyone who used it. I don’t think it’s ever really been a thing where I live. Which is good, we have enough problems with crystal meth! This is a disturbing drug, though, and I really doubt the high it could give would be worth those side effects.

I looked this up and all I can say is Oh dear lord! This picture is one of the nicer ones. I won't post any of the other ones I saw. From what I can remember from the list of ingredients it has gasoline, paint thinner, and a few other things at the top of the NEVER DO THIS list. Its supposed to be a cheap knock off of heroin from Russia.

Yeah, they like it because it's cheap, but ehh that is still not a good reason to me for using it. Gosh, I really think those who use this are so desperate for a fix, so desperate they are willing to end up like this. No wonder life expectancy for people addicted to this is so low, but I really think that those who keep using this even after they see they are rotting away are people who actually want to die. I can't find any other explanation.

I was an addict myself (never to this of course!), when I started to notice some unpleasant side effetcs and even a bit nasal erosion that is when I said, no, no more. But I know circumstances are different, as far as I know life is so different over there.

By the way, not so long ago I read about a girl who injected this in her genitals... GOSH. Why in the world would she do that! JESUS! This took place in America.

I guess, maybe people who already live in the streets. After all not many are using this in the US, but in Russia... well, I think most addicts are aware. Most have seen the effects with their own eyes, but just don't care. That's why addictions are so dangerous and scary.

I mean, look at all those alcoholics and drug addicts, they are destroying themselves little by little, the only difference between them and krokodil users is the fact most of the damage is inside and decades can pass before you actually die. But eventually an addiction to any drug will kill you. That is fact, some do it faster than other though.

I hear ya! Meth is quite awful as well, gosh, looking at the before and after pics of long-term meth users made me never ever want to give it a try. I don't meant to be mean or disrespectful but some of those people end up looking like they were in some kind of accident. I know some of them actually were... because I have heard some do get burnt while cooking meth. I feel so sorry for those poor souls. Meth is a real disgrace to humanity.

Wow that's bad. That alone is enough to make most people steerclear of this very dangerous drug. I know I'll never get involved in something thatv would do that to my body. Not knowingly anyway.

If you haven't already, and if you have a pretty strong stomach you bing or google images. Like I said, this is the least disturbing picture out of all of them. It cuts off the blood flow to certain parts of your body so those spots just rot away.

I know exactly what you mean! That's why I never tried meth or heroine. I've heard too many stories, and if that wasnt enough "The Faces of Meth" had me convinced. this stuff is even worse. it is a lot more potent and a lot cheaper than heroine. the life span of a user is 2 years if theyre extremely lucky. most people dont last a year. there are pictures of people who have lost half their face! And it only takes an hour to cook up a batch. I can't believe I have never heard of it before. This stuff is a pretty big deal

It's pretty popular in Eastern Europe. But no, I have never met someone who used or uses this drug. It's sad to see how people use horrible drugs only to get high and feel good for a moment. It's like they have no brains at all.

It is really sad. Seeing someone doing that to themselves is terrifying. Just the fact that you're on this site means you have dealt with addiction one way or another. So everyone here has to realize that sometimes people make mistakes. And sometimes those mistakes are almost impossible to set right. This is a horrible price to pay for making some mistakes. If I found out anyone I knew was using it, I would do anything I could think of to make them stop. If it means rehab, or even setting them up to get arrested. I can't think of anything I wouldn't do.

I was reading the story of a meth user the other day, he had an accident while cooking meth. His flesh melted, poor guy, his head looks so small and it looks like he has no neck. He had to undergo a lot surgeries as a result of that accident. But he is now free from addiction, I am so sorry he had to go tru hell for that to happen tho, it is so sad.

Me too. I look at addiction as a trap. You get lured in and then held hostage. That's too much of a price to pay for some mistakes, too. Honestly, if he were an addict who did NOT want to get better his success story would be about moving on from meth to pain killers, wouldn't it?
