Welcome to the community,
@A better me. And thank you for sharing with us. By coming here and opening up to us, you're taking a giant step in the right direction. I'm very proud of you for doing that.
There are a lot of ways for you to start overcoming your meth addiction. Dominica has listed a few of them and I would recommend trying any or all of those things to see if they help you. Recovery is a very individual thing, and what helps one person may not help another. There is no "one size fits all" approach. So the best way to figure out what works for you is to try different things. I think going to an NA or AA meeting would be a great thing for you. Being among other people who know exactly what you're going through and feeling is helpful and comforting. Seeing an addiction specialist would be great, too. They can assess your specific situation and recommend the best next steps for you. I would also suggest seeing a therapist, preferably one who specializes in helping people who struggle with addiction. So often there are things from our past that are the root causes of our addiction. If you discover and confront those things, recovery can be easier.
We are here for you, my friend, and we will help and support you any way we can. Please feel free to come here and post whenever you'd like, okay? In the meantime, I'm sending you a truckload of hope and encouragement. You're young and you have a lot of years ahead of you. I know you can kick addiction's ass and live a better, happier, healthier life.
