the longest i went without sleep was 31 hours. it doesn't seem like a lot but i was absolutely exhausted. i didn't want to do anything and my eyes hurt just to be open. i wouldn't want to do anything and nothing seemed entertaining. when your up for so long you just become very lazy and want to sleep.

    This is crazy!
I thought maybe a day or two, but upwards of a week?
How do you know when the effects of the drug stop and the effect of sleep deprivation begin?

A long time. I've been a practicing addict for over ten years, and know several who have been using since they were teens who are now in their 50's. It's all about how strung out your getting. Im functional, and most people's jaws would drop it if they knew i used meth on aregular bars basis. I've had some health issues, and I'm sure they will get worse, but I've got a lot of life left. Im 33, been an iv user if Crystal meth since 2000.

its easier than you think when you are using meth. Usually the first three days are nothing. It's the next few that get weird. The longest I've stayed up is around six days. I say around because time sorta blurs at that point. I go at least once or twice a week without sleep for a night. It sucks, but one of the reasons I use is because I've got too much to do. I can't get it all done without losing sleep!

Back in the days when I tried it I stayed awake for two days straight. After that I fell so bad that I never tried anything like this again. I guess two days isn't that much anyway, I haven't slept for three days when I was studying for my finals.

When I was younger, I can go on for three straight days without sleep. No power naps whatsoever. And no meth. Just coffee. I think this holds true for most university students. You know, juggling projects, reports, parties, anime marathon, series marathon. Now that I'm older, the longest time that I was able to stay awake was 48 hours. And it's because of work and my insomnia. I wish I could sleep for longer hours though. Nowadays, I am only able to sleep for about 6 hours a day.

It's so crazy that people can do that on drugs. I think the longest I've gone is just a day and I wasn't on drugs. That has to have really adverse effects on people's brains.
  8. I, myself haven't stayed up over 3-5 days but I know many to stay up over a week or 2.. This must be so hard on the body and mind! By day 3 is when it seems to just kind of numb your senses, almost as tho, for me, I'm no longer worried, feel like I've gotten over the jump into a knew kind of state of mind! Friends have said the same. I'm in no way bragging or gloating! This is horrible for anyone, I'm actually waiting for a bed to open up at the treatment center close by... Done with this garbage! Its talking my mind, soul, dignity, and about everything else that makes me who I am! I just lost myself in past 4 months! Also by day 3 I'm hearing music come from every fan in the house, box fans to bathroom fans! And there's no off switch! Not fun! I have never seen or heard anything and actually believed it was really there... I know when I'm high this happens! Why any if is want this is very creepy in its self! I pray no one decided to try it that hasn't! Most evil drug I've seen! Takes ur very being! Scary enough for me
  9. No not too long, but long enough for ur body to put on the breaks for ya! I'm a 3-5 day bungee! Or should I say... Was.. Not used in almost 2 weeks! I googled this sorry, nasty garbage! Its horrific damage to every part of the body and life scared me bad! I wish that was the case for everything out there! I get addicted if i just look at a drug! I've been fighting for awhile but this drug or "demon" in disgise is the real deal as far as being addicting and takeing over ur life... With huge consequenses and devastating outcomes

As a result of technology, I end up sitting on my laptop or phone for hours every night. My daily routine is to wake up at five and fall asleep at about twelve or one - so a maximum of five hours of sleep every day. The longest I've gone without any is probably three days when I was playing an FPS game online with friends who didn't seem to ever sleep. I swear one of them stayed on his computer for over twelve hours without leaving. I would always hear their wives/girlfriends talk to them, giving them food and asking them to stop playing games, as we would speak in a team chat on Teamspeak.

Meth ruins lives that is for sure. I mean your body is not meant to go without sleep. I am sure staying up for days at a time will give you hallucinations. I understand wanting to feel good on a drug, but the side effects of this drug are way too severe. I don't know why anyone would want to use it.

I went 5 days (4 nights) without sleeping. You zone out, can spend hours kinda just sitting there staring at something.

Also grip on reality changes. It's like you start hearing people saying things and you get really paranoid (well I did anyways). I completely flipped out once, in a really busy area and made a complete fool of myself. It wasn't good at all.
I still use here are there, but never go more than 2 nights without sleep.

I cannot imagine a week without sleep, however, I once had a drug addict friend who could go 36 hours without any sleep. The longest hours that I can go without sleep is 24 hours. However, if I can get at least two hours sleep every day I can easily spend a week.

I know a guy who did meth (I say did because I think he died recently), her sister said he could go without sleep for days, but I don't know the exact numbers. The guy seemed out of his mind though, you could tell all he could think about was meth; how to get money to buy more meth. It's terrible :( Worst drug ever...

I joined USMC at 17 and was one of first in special services , now known as special forces, and revived intensive specialized training for solo operating as sniper . Well before spotter and shooter method commonly seen now . Can only say so much as signed life away on confidentialitystatements and consequently what happens when run mouth too much but had multiple missions usually 3 -5 days from jump point to pick up or exit strategy. I was given pills to help with " alertness and stamina " to be used as needed per own discretion but always had bigger supply than ever needed. Learned to take twice recommend dosage from before jump or insertion. Spend usually day getting where needed, up to day in hide the shot and break for extraction point minimum of 72 hours up to 6 days when missed first pick up point and had to use secondary extraction point . I was often up another day or more after mission end but never sure if day or 2 up after quit taking was pills still in system or adrenaline still wearing off . We had multiple physc evaluation before and after mission and passed even after they knew had been awake for days and knew what was given to stay awake .But also know from personal experience that by day 2 or 3 that when in place or hide waiting for shot I would be ranging or observing thru scope and space out , hallucinate , for sometimes seconds up to hours at times with no real clear memory of thoughts or actions at that time. by day 4 or 5 would go from active to stand by I guess would call it anytime I wasn't active or forcing brain to keep processin info . I would describe as being on auto pilot . I still functioned normally , I thought, and never got questions about actions. I continued for 6 years roughly on assignment then 2 more before got out at 8 years . I know several other shooters that had to be outed of military service after extreme physcosis and losing touch with reality after continued use of pills supplied so USMC , officialy, lol, quit providing or approving of use of stimulants. But also know have an 20 year old son on deployment in Afghanistan that is still using now for alertness on extended mission now. And have known several that became addicted , several till death , to meth after leaving service in one manner or another that had never used anything before service . Ok just rambling but know 5 -6 days not unusual for being awake and operational ready ....well kind of ready ....

I've been a method addict for a little over 30 years now an I have stayed up for 6 to 7 days constantly for so many years of my life that it was normal to me once clean an sober an sleeping every night was really difficult to get used to doing....
