@Pirottz... Welcome to the community. If you don't mind, give us a little more background on your situation. We'd love to help and support you any way we can. You are not alone, my friend.
@Pirottz I am more than happy,to share with you my friend. Glad you found us. No shame in me telling how I came to where I am if it helps another addict. I was very young and found it extremely hard to stop even after only a few, months of regular drinking. And drinking for me was never a social thing. I isolate when,i drink. I stopped simply because it no longer worked for me i,actually, became immune to,the effects of alcohol. Librium detox saved my life. I spent a few eels at an inpatient facility.
I think I was about 15 when I had to have it to feel normal. There was a point where I was pouring a double shot or heck just a couple fingers of vodka before I passed out so when I woke up I could down that. After I could hold it down anyway. I've detoxed off of a lot of stuff. Alcohol was one though that scared me. I would take it slow. Siezures and dts are no joke.
pathetically yet honestly..........around 6-7th grade.i had a friend whos dad was getting divorced and he bought his kids love with a case of lucky loggers aday and every night we would drink the entire case.....Fuc* that sucks but its true
You learned how to choke down the nasty stuff early. Man. We used to joke that it was called that because even loggers were lucky if they survived the next morning. Its sad how some parents do their kids.
In the first year of my college, even though it was my time it never felt like, and I have been an occasional drinker all my life.
When I was in high school! I remembered my friends and I got drunk almost every week. Well that was fun, they are still my friend up till now.
