Upon reading many articles all over the Internet, and asking people on Reddit for advice, I plucked up my courage and said to myself I needed to try some. After consuming a medium dose, like my friends and Internet told me to do, I honestly didn't feel anything special, only that time slowed down a little bit, and everything seemed to behave as if I was in a dream, but that was nothing new to me as I had tried "spice" long before. I know that drug sensations are different to everyone, but not the point of not feeling anything, like in my case. I don't want to know why I didn't experience anything, but if you felt anything particular upon consuming it? It's odd, because there's a lot of hype about it, and now I'm not sure if people only pretend or if it's just about me... Any answers are greatly appreciated!
My guess is you snorted it? It depends on the way the drug has been administered. However, can I ask you why you feel like you needed to try this? I say need because it took you time & discovery before you went through with it. Most people just casually play with drugs but you seem to be planning around them. Why?
You're mad. The hype doesn't tell you about the saddness, the dispair and the general feeling of being a second class citizen. Stay well clear before its too late.
In the future, don't let people or the internet world get into your inner curiosity as just trying out something like that could lead into an addictive set. You are lucky to not feel or gain any negative factors after one dosage. Just be careful in the future though!
You know, there are some people who can live normal lives with heroin addictions (provided their country is not too harsh on them and let them keep their jobs, like in Switzerland). There are also people who are prescribed heroin to help handle pain -- these people are usually followed by doctors to make sure it's not gonna be addictive, though. Nevertheless, I don't think it's worth the gamble to try out drugs just to check it out. Try 'em out when you are old and about to die. Nobody lived a better life because of drugs. If you wanna go for hypes, maybe you try scuba diving and parachuting first.
Wow I don't think I could ever get the courage to try a drug like heroine. I have heard and seen the horrors that that drug can cause and I will say stay clear because you never know if you may become an addict. I would suggest that you don't try it again in the hope of experiencing a buzz because you just might become hook to that feeling.
I doubt people are pretending when they say it has a good feeling. In my opinion it's more likely that it just doesn't appeal to you as much as it does for other people. I myself never found joy in getting drunk as I consider the feeling too messy to be fun but somehow almost everyone in the world loves to drink and I never understood it.
I don't mean to be rude, but I wonder why you wasted you money and risked your health for heroin? Was it pure curiosity or did your friends challenge you? I think, even if it was only an "experiment" it could have gone badly wrong. Why would you do that to yourself?
That doesn't sound like something you just want to try once. It's not like pot thats for sure. I can't believe you didn't throw up and feel like crap. Perhaps you had some weak stuff, or you didn't snort enough, assuming that's the way you did it. I've seen people snort a normal size line of H for the first time, and get really sick. Some claim to feel amazing after they puke though.
In my opinion your crazy to have tried it. Heroin as been around for a number of years now obviously and at first when people started taking it, the dangers and addictiveness of it wasn't known. Now the dangers of taking heroin and what damage it can cause to a persons life, not just their life but everybody around them is well known and I wouldn't have thought that anybody would even start to take it in this day and age.
To be frank with you, i think what you just did is plain stupid! To me, it's like aiming a gun to your head and pulling the trigger hoping to share your experience with others. Many around the world are languishing in despair because of that one little, harmless try the did with drugs just to have a taste of it. Steer clear of drugs if you really value your life.
All drugs can affect people in different ways and it might just be that heroin isn't for you. So I wouldn't bother trying it again, look for something safer to experiment with instead. Also, I'm not sure that Redditors are the best source of advice but there you go.
So you took advice on the internet about trying Heroin? The only real question is why??? Why did you feel the need to "pluck up the courage and try it?" Pot is one thing, but heroin is a ridiculously dangerous drug that can and will eventually kill you if you become addicted. As someone who's seen a close family member's life fall into a tail-spin with drugs like heroin, it's absolutely crazy that you'd willingly try it because you were bored or something.
What in the world? So you heard you should try heroin and decided you should heed the advice? I don't understand your rationalizing, but I think you need to be more careful with your life. I think you are lucky that it had no effect on you and leave it at that.
You may not have tried it properly. For example, many Marijuana users claim that the first time they smoke they didn't get high. I honestly think it might be the bodies defense mechanism or something. That's really pseudoscience. At any rate, I certainly think that it was simply the way you tried it or if it was good. More than thousands of people have been addicted to Heroin, so there is something definitely very powerful about the drug. Honestly, I recommend this be the last time you experiment with it. I understand in life we all need to make mistakes to learn, but this isn't a mistake you should be making yourself.
Whoa! That was a very risky thing you did. One time and you could of very easily became hooked on it. Statistics state heroin is the hardest drug to walk away from. My stepsons mother died of an heroin overdose over 10 years ago, and just recently my daughters long time friend overdosed. It is one potent drug.
You didn't mention what method you used to consume it. Personally, I tried smoking it once (chasing the dragon) and I didn't like it at all. People said it would give a calm, warm and comforting feeling but it never did that to me. It just made me feel dirty and a bit groggy and tired, like I had only just woken up. Not really the sort of state of mind I could handle being in all the time. I'm sure injecting it would be very different but that's an extremely dangerous path to take - and I've never dared to take it.
It's just about "trying new things", not thinking about what to do with my life. I don't have anything left to do other than experience new sensations. I might sound oblivious, but there comes a time in your life when you simply have achieved enough, and that you want to go to the "underground" side. I didn't go there, FORTUNATELY, and it wasn't my intention of doing so, but once in my life did I want to feel like I was alive, although I knew the risks I exposed myself at. And, trust me, I'm not doing it again. You'd be amazed to know that not everyone takes drugs for the sole purpose of getting out of depression or whatever. There are people who simply want to experience new things, no matter the cost, and I personally am part of the latter category. I know that my intention of taking heroin was based off essentially nothing, but my urge of feeling something new overcame the reasonable thinking.
I understand, how you felt like before you experienced your first. It's plain curiosity and the exuberance of being young. With regard to Heroin, not having any effect on you, could be a result of your mode of administration as McWench pointed out. However, you are done in by the hype and hoopla. Both good and bad are a part of our life. We know, what to choose. But you just let your impulses to take you over. You know, it is BAD. So never ever go there. Be strong, always. Peace
Yeah, it was only about momentary impulses, nothing that made me thought it was that worth it, but people tend to misunderstand this plain curiosity you pointed out well. I will not do it again in the future, I don't want to become addicted, and I know the risks I expose myself at by even thinking about it.
