Killing addiction entirely (instead of replacing...)

    It will get better. You will eventually get to a point where you will feel a lot better. Nobody said getting off an addiction was easy. So, you should know you are doing a great job.

    I think it's pretty good that you have found your balance and at the same time you feel it's hard. In my opinion that is the right attitude Claire because when we feel too comfortable and too happy about ourselves, that is when bad things happen.

    I got religion if you can understand that and it just stopped my addiction in its tracks. It was a complete lifestyle change that took me away from my regular friends and haunts. I have never gone back to this and it ha been many years. I must say that I think the eating is not as bad because you can replace what you are eating with healthier options. There are no healthier options with drugs and alcohol.
