The sad part is that we should not need to look for the right doctor, we should go to the doctor and receive help, it should not be the lottery!
That's true caparica, but at the same time it's just he medical system we have, some doctors are good, others are not, so we need to deal with that using our heads.
That is the most important thing like you say, we need to think using our head, but at the same time we should be able to rely on the institutions as well and on doctors too.
Doctors do not always communicate very well with eachother, that is one reason people can end up taking too many pills. One doctor sends someone to a specialist for something, and they get meds, repeat several times and there are a lot of meds. If your doctors are not communicating well, you have to take charge and find a new one and start over to break the cycle.
How many of those cases have I seen DancingLady, doctors are a mess, there is not uniformity in their treatments or procedures and we depends on luck and money to have the best care.
I think that in this society we depend on ourselves above all and in that sense we should try not to make a mess or else it will be hard to get out of it.
