Anyone into alternative therapy familiar with orgonite? It's basically a combination of crystals, metals and resin which was believed by the scientist Wilhelm Reich to turn what he called dead Orgone energy back into positive energy. Reich believed that Orgone energy permeated the entire universe much like Tesla believed in ether. A similar story is also the case, Reich was persecuted by the authorities, labelled insane and his lab burned down. Orgonite is believed by many people to have positive healing and spiritual cleansing benefits.
I can't say that I've heard of this type of therapy before! I've heard about people believing crystals have certain energies and healing qualities though, so I guess it's somewhat in line with that. I have no idea thou about the scientific backing of it or whether it's just a pseudo science placebo type thing. If it works for someone though I say good for them!
It's the first time I'm hearing about Orgonite, but it isn't my first time hearing about alternative ways to cure or mitigate the effects of "addiction." Since I don't have enough data, I can't say much about that method. However, if it works, then there's no reason for people not to try it. Besides, Orgonite doesn't seem harmful in any way.
Certainly quite a controversial topic. I have some orgonite, or rather an "orgone accumulator" in my possession now which was made by someone who claims to be an alien contactee (that might sound unusual to you but it's not for me). He claims he was told how to make it by aliens. If you think that's bizarre, Wilhelm Reich himself believed that UFOs were leaving behind dead orgone energy and that he could shoot down UFOs using orgone blasters. It does very much sound like pseudoscience but I have discovered myself that certain topics labelled as pseudoscience actually have a lot of truth to them (NLP, Jungian psychology, etc). Orgone is basically the same thing as Chi or Prana. It's just name given to a universal life force which many alternative medicines are based on including Acupuncture and Reiki. Buddhist monks are able to display the power of Chi in miraculous ways. Many scientists believed in this universal life force including William Crookes and Nikola Tesla with many of them basing their work on it. Quantum physics now seems to be at a point whereby it is beginning to understand this life-force which is basically universal consciousness. Franz Mesmer (where the word Mesmerism comes from), who accidentally discovered deep trance hypnosis, also believed he had discovered a universal life-force which he called "vital fluid", this fluid permeating the entire universe and everyone and everything in it. He called this phenomenon Animal Magnetism and the hypnotists of the time become known as "magnetizers".
Really. Well the stone combinations are just so beautiful. This is the first I've heard of this theory. The pyramid patterns are so nice. So his lab was burned down and he was persecuted by the authorities. Says a lot about the theory. Must have been some kind of threat. Perhaps its true and really works. This is the way it always works just call them a quack. I mean this is how it works. They slander the competition or threat to discredit. Dr. Wilhelm Reich, a psychoanalyst. An Austrian born in the Ukraine 1897. Known as a scientist of integrity. The most radical practitioner of psychiatry. Author of; Character Analysis, The Mass Psychology of Fascism, and The Sexual Revolution. Orgone energy or life energy. It's a blue light. It's an amazing theory actually it fits into so many other pieces of the puzzle. They burned his books on the Orgone theory and he died in prison. This is pretty intense. Speaks volumes for the theory by doing such things to someone. Well he certainly was an interesting person. Thanks for the post.
This is certainly interesting to me. I've read a lot of research and articles online about orgonite before posting here. Orgone is described as something like a universal life force or energy. Microscopic units and even macroscopic units are said to have orgones in them as well. And Dr. Wilhem Reich said that the deficit of such orgones is the cause of diseases. He has then designed special devices that can accumulate orgone energy from the environment and thus, orgonites have existed. It is also interesting to note that Dr. Wilhelm Reich is a deputy of one of Freud's clinics. It is said that orgone came from two words, org and ozone. Meaning, orgone was derived out of a sexuality concept. In any case, we don't know now since Reich is already dead and his research was stopped by the authorities. As far as the claims that orgone can indeed affect one's energy, it hasn't been proven. But there are tons of products that claim the same claims of orgone. In the end, it's the personal preference of the person whether he or she would believe in the potential of an orgonite.
This is the first time that I have heard of Orgonite. I think it is a bit similar to Reiki healing. And as per my research, you can also make your own Orgonite. Interesting. The crystals are affordable too at $12 to $20. Now I'm just wondering if it's actually effective.
A fascinating and powerful story indeed which got me wondering as to whether anyone has created a movie about Wilhelm Reich and as it turns out, they have. It's called The Strange Case of Wilhelm Reich and was made in 2012. I'm definitely going to have get a copy of that. There's major connections here, especially for me personally. The first is the link to narcissism. I am a writer on narcissism and was a victim of narcissistic abuse for over ten years. Another major link is the psychological tie to Mesmerism, which was basically how hypnosis was discovered. Mesmer, who used what he called Animal Magnetism to put people into deep trance, believed that he had discovered what he called "vital fluid" which he also believed permeated the entire universe. Others to speak out about some kind of universal life force include Dr Eugene Mallove who was murdered in 2004 for speaking out about both cold fusion and the (alleged) reality of a universal life force. Yes, it's a very similar concept to Reiki. I've actually used both Reiki and Orgonite in conjunction with each other. I do believe that belief/faith play an important role in it but when you look deeply into it, the placebo and noncebo effects stretch so far that they could be considered to be of a supernatural nature.
My sister has an orgonite necklace and it helps her to sleep. I really believe it had an effect on her because its way past the placebo effect right? its been years now. Also the whole story behind orgonite is quite suspicious. You can't ignore the fact that while many crimes were in progress worth of attention, the government decided to investigate and prosecute a "crazy old man" and pretty much erased him. Like you said, its controversial but it might have some true, that guy was a scientist not some random lunatic.
It's junk science. There is nothing to it and it has been debunked so many times that it isn't even funny anymore.
@Sparkster, Which do you think is more effective, Reiki or Orgonite? I think Reiki is more expensive. I also do believe in supernatural methods to heal someone, even if I have no idea how energy healing actually works.
If you look deeply into this, you will see what an absolute genius and successful man Wilhelm Reich was before he was persecuted. It's blatantly obvious to anyone with half a brain that the man was onto something and that they desperately wanted him out of the way. Not only was he a scientist but he was also a psychoanalyst and a disciple of Freud. Reich had produced much work in the field of psychology and coined the term "phallic narcissist". Reich was also the man who discovered that the human mind could be controlled using electronic frequencies of 420MHz. Much of his information is now being proven by quantum mechanics and a lot of it is can easily be tested and proven yourself at home. No, it isn't. I'll tell you what's junk science: peer-reviewed garbage. Peer review is a way of controlling the flow of information and people who adhere to it are willingly being told what they should think, rather than thinking or finding out for themselves. There is, however, peer-reviewed official mainstream scientific evidence which supports Reich's work (even though mainstream science is a joke). Reich's theories can easily be proven and tested in your very own home and are very much due to the piezoelectric effect which has already been proven. Check out the one-atom wide electricity generator! Telekinesis is also considered impossible and yet I have achieved it. NLP is labelled as pseudoscience and yet it works without flaw when utilized properly. The discrediting of such phenomena is done to protect their own vested interests. This kind of material has been suppressed throughout the centuries and yet quantum mechanics and transpersonal psychology are now at a point whereby they are indeed beginning to prove these things. Take a step outside of the box and outside of the conditioning you have been subject to your whole life. It will change your mind. I find the Orgonite much more powerful than the Reiki, although it did seem to amplify the Reiki. However, rather than paying for Reiki you could learn how to do it yourself. Whilst I have it performed on me by others, I can and do also do it myself. The most powerful thing I had done though was a Shamanic spiritual cleansing/healing. Now, as suggested above these kinds of things are considered junk science by the mainstream, and yet during that shamanic healing and over the following week or two there were very visible spirit orbs with me which could be video filmed and photographed - as we know, hallucinations, delusions, false beliefs, etc do not show just up on photographs - but these things did.
@Sparkster, Interesting, I have no healing powers, so would you say by buying an orgonite crystal that can do the trick, like keep just it with you at all times? I have headaches at times and it would be cool if I can instantly get rid of them. Are spirit orbs human ghosts or other spiritual beings?
The orgonite I have in my possession has been and still is incredibly powerful and can be used for all sorts of things including health, wellbeing, positivity, manifestation, etc. However, it was also made by someone who is an alien contactee and claims that the aliens taught him how to make it properly. There are certain reports which suggest that some of the orgonite available to buy online (from ebay, etc) is actually not made properly which could be problematic - it could be dispersing DOR (deadly orgone energy) rather than positive OR if it's not made properly. Best thing to do is to learn how to make it and do it yourself. As for the spirit orbs, I do not believe that they are the spirits of humans but they can be manifested by (living) humans. I have seen other spiritual entities too which may be the spirits of discarnate humans and they are very different. Orbs seem to be a manifestation of consciousness (or the Holy Spirit).
@Sparkster, the word"deadly" by itself is such a deterrent that I think I should research on the matter further. I had no idea that they were also available on Ebay. I also had no idea what a discarnate entity is, and look what I found: "There are various types of discarnate entities, which include: anger entities, chemical entities (including fluoride and sugar entities), death and suicide entities, dope and tobacco entities, gossip entities, horror and mischievous entities, insanity and depression entities, fear entities, liquor entities, condemnation entities, lust of money and gambling entities, sentimentality and weeping entities, sex and self-infatuation entities. They can be singular or mass entities." So I think discarnate spirits are what you also call as Earth-bound spirits?
Well, the word "discarnate" basically means not having a physical body - you incarnate on Earth then discarnate when you die and some people believe that you reincarnate. So, when I say discarnate entities or the spirits of discarnate humans I'm referring to the spirits of people who have died - they have discarnated. Earth-bound spirits would, alternatively, be excarnate rather than discarnate. Don't worry too much about Reich's use of the word "deadly" - there are basically three forms of orgone energy around us all the time; negative (i.e. deadly) orgone energy (DOR), neutral orgone energy (OR) and positive orgone energy (POR). Everything at the quantum/subatomic level is nothing more than energy with either a negative, neutral or positive charge. That's just the nature of reality - without good, there can be no bad. Everything must have it's polar opposite.
Thanks for clearing that up! That website sure made the term "discarnate" sound a whole lot complicated! Well if I had an orgonite crystal then hopefully it would bring me good luck and positivity.
I think one of the biggest problems orgonite has right now, are people trying to sell it for ridiculous prices and claiming everybody else do it wrong. I'm willing to try this orgonite myself but I find it really hard to find the right place to buy it from. When I tried to buy it there were many sites and people saying they are the right choice, and that's good but they also make sure to remark you should buy it from them, which makes me suspect.
My cousin has this bracelet with green stones. He says that it helps him keep calm and it relieves him of stress. I don't know if it really works but he believes that it does. Whatever works I guess.
I've never heard of this type of therapy but that's mainly due to the fact that I don't personally believe in any of that "energy healing" stuff. I respect the opinions of others as much as I do my own but I really don't think that all that "healing people and using the positive energy" is true. Most of the people that offer that type of service are scammers that put stupid prices on a bunch of rocks and sell them to naive customers. If it works for you then I'm happy, but I wouldn't go wasting hundreds/thousands on some random things someone found on the ground unless you know for a fact that it will work for you. Most of the time its just a psychological thing. The same way those "balance bracelets" that were sold a while ago for $10 were supposed to make you calm and full of energy and it was found that they were literally $0.10 pieces of rubber. I'd resort to scientifically proven treatments before getting into any of that stuff, but then again, that's just my take on the whole thing.
