Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Let me preface this by saying, I live in a gated community, with a high HOA fee, so the fact that I am dealing with this is upsetting enough. My next door neighbors son, for as long as I’ve known, has been in and out of jail with a drug problem. It has never affected me or my family (two young sons) until recently. I’ve seen him smoking, multiple things, a lot recently. But yesterday when i came Home, after leaving my upstairs bedroom windows wide open, my room stunk TERRIBLY of burnt plastic. I was told by multiple sources that this is the smell of methamphedine. I am Sick to my stomach thinking that my family, ESPECIALLY my babies, could be harmed by this residue. Is there any chance of us getting second hand contamination? I am A worried sick, breast feeding mother, who is ready to call the cops. Any help/ advice is GREATLY appreciated.

You do whatever necessary to protect your kids period. So if the cops have to be called so be it,but to answer your question directly yes you can get high from second hand smoke although most who smoke math claim that is false....But it is not

@MamaBear03... If it were me, I would call the cops the next time you smell anything suspicious. @True concern is right: You have to do whatever is necessary to protect your kids (and yourself, too). No one should have to put up with what you're describing. Also, you may want to check out this thread:

If you call the police, let us know how that goes. We're here and we care.

@MamaBear03 Hey there. Thank you for reaching out. I'm so sorry that you have to contend with this. I agree with what the others are saying, and doing whatever is necessary to keep you and your babies safe.
