Most teens have private moments where they engage in whatever they feel like doing. Many use drugs secretly in moderation while others use electronic cigarettes without the busy parents noticing.

Has anyone experienced a child's secret use and how did you or would you handle the situation?

Many teens often use drugs secretly because they know their parents won't like it but feel that they have to because their friends are using drugs. Why not them?

But whilst they experiment if you know your child well you'll notice that they are acting differently and you'll have to do whatever you have to find out if the child is using drugs. It's easy. Should you discover that they actually are using drugs, you'll need to have a talk about drugs. There's no guarantee that they'll stop using drugs, fact is an early intervention (program) [when necessary] will probably be what they need so they don't end up being addicts.
