Have you ever had anyone suspect your doing heroin when you don't even do any sort of drugs at all? Not even antidepressants. The ONLY thing I can think of is cause sometimes I am really uppity then other times I can be really mellow and sometimes I get really depressed. Could this be mistaken as a drug problem?
Unfortunately in this day and age, people will assume (meaning make an *** out of U and ME). Drugs are the quick "Oh gosh, they must be using excuse." Instead of people actually looking at ALL the facts. This amounts to a very large case of stupidity and jumping to conclusions. If you moods do swing around allot, I am not sure that depression is the 100% correct answer. There are tests that you can take at home that may point to a better direction. I am not saying "You are bi-polar", but I would look into that, just to see. Then again, I know that you have been through a tremendous amount of challenges. I applaud you for not pulling a Lizzie Borden. I know that you will come through this whole ordeal stronger than Elanor Roosevelt.
Well, first of all, whoever it is that is asking you if your on heroin should look into the affects it has on a user, there will be more signs than just a persons mood. Yes, about three years ago at a huge family Christmas party, I had an uncle call me out in front of everyone and ask if I was doing meth. His only reason for asking me was because I had lost weight. He even asked me if I would be willing to take a drug test to prove it! People can lack brain power, its a fact of life.
I've never had anyone suspect me of doing heroin ever. Just stop being depressed and they won't think you're on drugs.
Yes, this can be seen as typical "drug behavior". Have you considered seeking medical advise as to whether you have a mild case of depression?
Unless they can prove anything I wouldn't worry. If YOU know you don't use and you can easily show such, whatever your accusers say or think count for nothing.
Before I got into this sinful world, no. But when I quit after many years, a lot of people wrongly suspected me of doing drugs when, like you said, you don't even do any drugs anymore.
I remember one time someone thought I was using tobacco and using it every day it turned out it was a guy who looked like me, who was doing this thing and the person was confused with the look. It is interesting to see when a person is accused of taking the drug when they are not and a person should find the real story which can be different than what they see or hear. I reckon if you look stressed out or may seem to be in a area where the other people take drugs and they can think you are consuming it and can take time to convince them you are not doing this in the first place.
Even though I haven't been near any hard drugs for nearly a decade, I often get accused of using again. I've got a metabolic disorder which means I've got very skinny so whilst I do understand people's suspicions, explaining that I've got this condition does get very frustrating.
People are usually very curious about your physical appearance. Some do it out of concern, while others just want something to gossip about. The simple truth here is the fact that people will always try to predict what is happening in your life, and other people will make conclusions. I have never been suspected of taking heroin before, but someone has actually told me that I look like a smoker, even if I have never smoked a cigaret before. It might be annoying to know that people suspects you, but it is better to avoid being depressed as much as you can. Avoid depression because people around you will always try to read your countenance.
You don't need to worry about that, in fact you don't need to be worried about anything that comes out of the mouth of worthless people who judge others by thier appearences, I have a friend who I really like and is a great person but everyone would say he does meth but he actually doesn't use any drugs...it's just some people are like this and there is nothing wrong about it dear.
You know it's funny even though I have been clean for 15 years, I will still sometimes feel as if people think I'm messed up if I am tired or not feeling 100%. I eventually realize it's probably all in my head though.
I have met people who thoughts I am on drugs or I have a mental disorder, as I am not very talkative and I get out of my house 3-4 times a month (during summertime). And well, every form of odd behavior could be mistaken as a drug symptom. Seriously, those things make you behave in a nasty way! Depends on how severe the symptoms are.
I remember about 7 years ago I was working in chicken houses. Very hard nasty work I have a weak stomach anyway. I had to work six chicken houses by myself. This job required a lot of walking, and picking up dead chickens. Between the walking, and not eating because I couldn't stomach food because of the working conditions I lost a lot of weight super fast my pants would fall right off of me it was that bad. People in this small town gossip mill had me on drugs, I had cancer or a eating disorder LMAO. So just don't pay people any mind it happens.
It is really easy to spot when someone is using heroin if you know what to look for. The people who are accusing you must not have any clue what they are talking about. When someone is high on heroin they will fall asleep in mid conversation, normally have some sores on their body, and will be very mellow and skinny.
Yeah, because it's THAT easy.... Sorry for the sarcasm but I'm pretty sure that OP would give anything to be able to simply turn off feelings of depression like that.
I would say that is an issue on the other persons' character. It's not your fault that they think that you are on drugs.
