Yeah that is what they say. Gratitude before you go to bed and when you get up. Changing your brain from the negative programing. Sometimes the negative is so loud in your mind that even seeing the positive seems impossible. Switching it around the other way I guess would be good. Like I'm so happy those credit card people are not so nice when you are about to pay them off. Lol I guess I should be glad when I have credit like that to use. The devil's plastic or the angel's clout.
It's even funny how you could always look on the brighter side of everything and someone comes along saying that even this is wrong. Lol People who don't stop complaining. Depressed I guess is what they are. It just makes me think of the people that I've met in my life that were always so positive. They just emanated gratitude and how much they appreciate just having you around. No matter what you say or do. Rare and great people.

Starting the day right and ending it right are key in my opinion. It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, you can start the day positive simply by thinking about what your doing that day, and making sure you accomplish them.

At the end of the day, you can look back and judge if it's been a good day or not, if it as you can rest easy, if it's not, then get a good nights sleep, because tomorrow will be different.

For me, starting my day right is usually done by focusing on a couple of things. I always try to do some sort of exercise first thing in the morning. It gets me focused and helps me remember my health and fitness. Also, I try to spend some time just remembering all the things I'm grateful for. I keep a gratitude journal which I find to be very positive.

Like what I said communicating with God through praying is how I start and end my day. People had different point of views when it comes to matters like this thing and we should respect each other opinions. But for me I always feel inspired to do all my responsibilities for the day because I know God is always with me to lead me to the right way.

I am so grateful each day when I wake up and the first words out of my mouth are, "Thank you." I pray and meditate and do my spiritual reading before getting on with my day. To me getting grounded and centered each day seems to set off the way the rest of my day goes. I am eternally grateful these days for all that I am blessed with. Life really is a gift.

It is definitely not corny. A lot of times people just can't get beyond the bad because they are constantly harping on what is wrong in their life. They end up going to bed upset over it and waking up on the wrong side of the bed because of it and then the entire day goes down hill.

I think listing at least three things that you are grateful for in your life before you go to bed or when you wake up in the morning is a wonderful strategy to start off on the right foot and be aware that there are some good things in your life despite all the things that go wrong and that gives you motivation to stay sober. It can sometimes be hard to look at the positives in our lives when there are so many negatives around us, but you have to look at the simple things and realize you really could not live without them, such as the roof over your head or the food on your table, or even the fact that you are healthy enough so that you can walk and talk.

This is an excellent idea, I am going to start doing this! We have so much to be thankful for, many people dream about having what we may already have and take for granted. In the morning when I am not looking forward to my day, I remind myself of all of the positive aspects of my day, even the small ones. Also, I remind myself of positive activities, events, or achieved goals coming up so that I have something to look forward to.

Whatever you believe in, whether that's a god, Mother Nature, the universe, or nothing at all, there's no question that putting yourself in a positive frame of mind when you awake can have rippling effects throughout your day. Also, it's never a bad thing to replace former destructive habits with healthy and happy ones.
  9. Yes, exercise is the best option to start a day with full to enthusiastic and the fun. Because, after sleep. our body too needs to wake up with the enjoyment and the blood too.
For this, you should have the programme fitness for the better exercise routine. You can have more on your health and fitness.

I know that's right. There's nothing like a gratitude list, however long or short, to help put you in the right frame of mind. And set the tone for the day. It actually gives you some degree of control. One technique I like is getting a photo calendar. Each day you write one to three things, however many you can fit, in the box. At the end of the year, you have your own gratitude list book, kinda sorta. You can save them, even, start a collection to look back on, in case you forgot some of the good things that happened in your life.
