I know it has been happening for a long time now but seeing it from the local news really disturbed me a lot. Perhaps many women have already fallen prey to the effects of liquid ecstasy. I've seen it a lot in movies and TV shows but I luckily never encountered it in reality.

According to the news, it is being used by notorious rapists on unsuspecting girls they meet in bars. Just a small drop of it can make a person dizzy, just like in the movies. It's odorless, colorless and it's hard to detect the taste especially in alcoholic drinks. It gives temporary amnesia to the person who took it so in cases of rape, the culprit can easily go away with it because the victim could remember absolutely nothing at all. I think the lesson here is to refuse anything from someone you don't know if you're out in a bar. Just like what our parents always taught us, don't talk to strangers

Even for adults the "do not talk to strangers" should really be on the minds since it is not safe to just trust strangers. Specially on places like bars in which alcohol and even drugs might be just there. There are also news like that in here and everyone should really be cautious.

I know these things happen all the time. Ladies beware. The only reason why guys buy you a drink is to lower your guards. So watch out.

But I know of parties where girls go to and they all go in a big group thinking that they are safe cause I got my girlfriends with me. But I know of parties where the guys has spiked the mixers and all the girls end up drinking it. The next morning, all of the girls got raped at the party. So it doesn't matter who you are with, friends or not, watch yourself.

Very true that the drug is odorless, colorless, and hard to detect. The drug is global, in the Philippines recently, the police did a house raid on one of the largest manufacturing plants of the drug. Other drugs were discovered being made there as well.

I have heard of stories where women "lace" their breasts with this and lure men into hotels, when the man passes out they rob him blind. Some women are manipulative enough to first have the man give up the pin number to his ATM and credit cards.

Everyone should be weary and use their best judgement at all times.

It is sad that both men and women have to be careful of where they put themselves these days. I have gone to parties at a person home that had drugs out very openly and I had to leave because of the drugs. I have had a person put substance in my drink which caused me to be very dizzy and unaware of my surroundings. Beware of the danger and avoid it at all cost.

Now that is one hell of a drug. Soluble, colorless, odorless, has all sorts of crazy effects and yet it only takes one drop to knock a person unconscious. I'd love to learn more about its origin. What's it called; was it discovered recently; was it synthesized; is it indigenous to certain regions? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to get into someone's pants or bank account, I am simply being curious as to how something so hard to detect can be at the same time so destructive and detrimental to the person on the receiving end. I wasn't even aware how powerful that drug is.

I've also watched this news recently on television. Women should always be alert about what's happening around them. And don't go out with people you've only met online, specially if you don't have any mutual friend, because you never know that they're planning to do with you. Don't also trust someone you meet at a bar/pub and don't take drinks from them because you never know what they've put in there.

I'm not sure but I don't think it is the correct name for it since from what I understand that particular substance doesn't cause amnesia although this might just be another form of it. I agree women should be a lot more careful though since it's always easy for predators to slip things into your drink when you're not looking.
