This is the story about my uncle,Julius. He died at the age of 39 years after a three to four year long addition to heroine and cocaine that nobody knew even noticed he had, even though we lived together with him during that time. He was a very high functioning addict and that led him to death

Oh my! I'm so sorry to hear that. It's really sad when we find out too late that one of our loved ones is addicted. It's bad enough to be hooked on one substance. What more if it's a combination of two?

I hope you and your family get through this loss. May your uncle Julius rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. Some addicts are very good at masking their addictions, and some should probably be professional actors because they mask their addictions so well. I think it is always a shock when something like this happens.

I am very sorry to hear this. I can't begin to imagine what you must be going through. Addiction to two deadly drugs is really overwhelming. And to think he covered it for so long. How is it even possible that no one noticed it in his behaviour.

I'm so very sorry. Sending prayers and hugs to your family. Addiction is a wicked thing and sadly it can be hidden when the person is determined to keep it hidden from those it would hurt the most.
