I have never used cocaine but I have in the past used meth. Besides the manufacturing process and the chemical makeup what is the major difference in the high associated with cocaine verses meth. Aren't they essentially the same high?

Methamphetamine is more of a shining, euphoric high. It lasts a lot longer than Cocaine, and can often make you stay up all night. It makes things enjoyable, due to an extreme increase in dopamine in the brain, and can cause paranoia. Cocaine is more of a confident, king of the world high. You feel like you own everything - like you are the ruler of everything. It can also cause you to stay up all night, but less likely to do so due to the much shorter half-life of Cocaine in comparison to Methamphetamine. They are very different drugs in every sense, but both "uppers".

Of the two, which one is the more addictive would you say? I've only tried coke and I have to say, I didn't really find that addictive at all.

Upon consuming meth, you will get addicted unless your power of will is strong enough to say no. Also, its effects are way more shattering than cocaine. I'm not saying that cocaine is good and should be taken, no. I don't even want to imply that. Both of them are horrendous and should be avoided nonetheless.
Stay strong, and I hope your question isn't addressed for you to try one of these!

Definitely meth. Cocaine is definitley addictive, I promise you that, but it's a psychological addiction rather than a physical dependency.

The high is way more powerful than the high, coke gives you and it also lasts a lot longer.
Meth is cheaper than coke, that's why it is referred to as the "Poor man's Coke".

Well with meth it is man made using chemicals and other things and with Cocaine it is natural and can have a higher chance of changing a person turning violent and moody as well. I know someone who smokes meth and he feels like he is high and, drives the car as well and tends to eat a lot have seen him eat 2 plates of meals which would be enough for two people and also drink tea and have mood swings sometimes. Meth maybe cheaper but, as it is manmade and the source it comes from is not a good one in most cases and can cause lung problems, blood pressure and also the body to have a bad effect as well and can change a person for the worse.

Both are dangerous but the highs are very different. Meth is also a lot more addictive than cocaine (unless we get into a debate about smoking crystal meth and crack cocaine). The high from meth is much more intense, much longer lasting and a lot more euphoric than the high from normal cocaine. It's also a lot more addictive. There is also a nasty crash from using meth which is a lot more intense than coming down off cocaine. Cocaine and crack are both bad enough as it is, but meth and crystal meth makes them seem quite mild in comparison. Normal cocaine basically makes you feel on top of the world and as though you're ten feet tall and above all but is usually short-lived. Meth gives a feeling of euphoria and stimulation. Some meth users have reported being awake for several days and having orgasms for up to seventeen hours!

I think meth is more addictive and is deadlier than cocaine. I have seen pictures of meth addicts before and after they started using meth and they don't look good. Meth adds on about 20 years to your looks and so you really look much older than you are.

Well, meth is way more dangerous than cocaine. Also the negative effects on a person's health appearance is far more pronounced with meth, than it is with cocaine. I also think there's a class difference between meth and cocaine users, with the latter coming from the upper-middle & wealthy strata of society.

I don't have any experience with either, but meth appears to me to be more destructive. I have heard of functioning coke addicts where I have yet to hear of any functional meth addicts. There are CEOs of Fortune 500 companies that are high on coke regularly, while I have not heard of any CEOs that are hooked on meth.

Meth is cheaper, more addictive, with a longer lasting high than that of cocaine. Neither is good in any means, but I've seen a lot more people make it out of a cocaine addiction than I have those who have made it out of a meth addiction (though I have known plenty of people to get away from both).
