Vodka had caused too big a high for me to tolerate. I normally had whiskey which gave me a steady intoxication, which I enjoyed, I must say. But, Vodka simply had too strong an effect with just 2 to 3 pegs. I stopped Vodka for good as I could not stand it. I subsequently gave up everything and now stay sober. But yes, Vodka.
Vodka and whiskey. I mix it with non-alcoholic drinks, but I never mix alcohol and energy drinks. Didn't even know there was a movie named Se7en haha it doesn't have significant meaning.
Well for me it is definitely rum. Rum is on a different level when it comes to alcohol content and if you dare to drink it raw then you will be in some serious trouble. Rum will knock you out cold.
Vodka definitely was one of those things where it wouldn't go straight to my head, but eventually would catch up with me and suddenly I would be very drunk. Also, Jack Daniels has gotten me quite sick at times. I don't even like the taste of hard liquor, anymore which is a good thing. I don't know how I used to drink it so much.
Oh gosh. I really should avoid threads like this. There was this Irish alcohol, potcheen. It was some seriously strong stuff. To brew it is actually illegal, often having an alcohol percentage of 90-98%. It's made with potatoes. Just a few sips of it had me absolutely smashed. I'd avoid it if I were you.
I'm glad you don't mix with energy drinks. I think people who do that are just asking for something to go wrong haha. Well dude, you need to see it. It's an awesome movie.
Rum. It takes very low amounts of rum for me to get drunk. I like rum, though. Everything in moderation.
I know a lot of people that don't have to hardly sip on rum before they're gone haha. It's quite funny, really.
Yeah, I guess the stuff is pretty strong. I used to mix it with Coke or Pepsi, tastes great and goes down smooth. Goes down TOO smoothly, even, had to be careful with the stuff. Cuba Libre cocktails are the best.
I had a friend who used Dr. Pepper instead of Coke. I thought it was strange but hey, he said that he liked it. Rum is a go to for a lot of people I know.
I honestly have no idea. The thought of having alcohol made from potatoes is crazy though haha. Are you from Ireland?
Oh lordy, moonshine. Living down here in the south... haha, that potent stuff is everywhere! Everyone knows SOMEONE who can get it. I mentioned to a friend I wanted to drink something fruity one evening. She made a call and produced a bottle of her uncle's "homemade wine". One small glass. I was floored. I found out the next morning it was NOT wine. It was "wine-shine". Sheeesh.
Moonshine is the strongest but I think it's illegal. Any stronger and it will almost burn your throat. In my case, shots of Tequilla messes me up real bad. It really comes down to how much and how quickly you drink.
I have friends who lived in Tennessee and they have told me some stories haha. Those rednecks and hillbillies definitely know how to make some strong stuff. Wine-shine? Gosh that sounds terrible haha. What did it taste like?
I used to pound down shots of vodka until I felt it. Usually like 8 or so to get me started. But when it hit, it'd all hit at once and then it'd be a MESS.
I've never tried out Dr. Pepper, we don't have it in our country sadly. I doubt that, when it comes to mixing with rum, it's better than Coke, heheh. Now I wanna try it out...
What country are you from? It may or may not be better, I guess it just depends on the preferences, really.
