I agree that Vodka got me drunk off my a$$. I could feel the vodka working it's way through my body. No lie it started at my feet it moved upward it was a warm tingling feeling by the time it reached my head I was drunk. Moon shine was even quicker.
Yeah, born and lived there practically my whole life. It's a bit of a depressing place. Not surprising so many people turn to drink.
Like super sweet cough medicine mixed with cheap red wine. It had an after burn (like acid reflux or a warmth to it) but not as strong as moonshine or even a strong grain alcohol. It was so sweet you could barely taste the alcohol. Which is NOT a good thing! LOL. It'll fool you til you hit the floor!
My lowest tolerance would probably be to tequila. I have a pretty high tolerance to vodka and whiskey, but those two are also my preferred choices of drink, so it would make sense as to why the tolerance is higher....But even though tequila gets me drunk faster, the other two can hit me harder. with Vodka, one minute I'm fine, and the next I'm done (I'm also a very slow drinker, mind you.)
There's science behind this. The AbV (alcohol by volume) percentage is what determines how much pure alcohol is contained in the drink. Here's an image: From the image, you could see that light beer is the least likely to get someone drunk, with only 4.2% AbV. Beers that can be purchased at regular grocery stores like Tiger Beer have a even lower AbV of 1-2%. 14oz of this beer is equivalent to 1.5oz of 80 Proof hard liquor.
I would have to say Fireball. Doing Fireball shots really gets you messed up fast. Of course you are not usually just drinking Fireball. There is usually other alcohol involved so you get pretty wasted. When I do drink I usually just stick with a few beers or a few drinks of vodka.
You know what shots actually do not do that to me. I've had 5 within an hour and it was like nothing. If I had them with another cocktail it would, but not alone. Long Island ice tea generally does the trick fast. The whole glass is alcohol with a splash of mixers.
Vodka has always been what hit me the fastest. Only 2 or 3 shots would have me stumbling everywhere and acting like a crazy wild woman. Of course I wouldn't stop there, I added many other types of drinks, especially when I was out somewhere. But vodka was definitely my DOC when I knew I wanted to get drunk fast.
I get drunk very easily, but I think that the strongest drink for me it’s vodka and tequila, two shots of those drinks are more than enough for me, but my sister is a strong drinker, she can take about five shots of tequila and she is still not dizzy!
I'm not an easy drunk. At one party in my youth, however, the bartenders got paid by the bottle, so they made sure my scotch was never empty over a 6 hour period (that did it!), but in terms of what hit me the hardest with the least, it was a homemade dandelion (wine?). I had perhaps 4oz. (clear, slightly sweet, but otherwise tasteless) and left. By the time I was a quarter-mile away, I felt a clamp on the back of my neck, which slowly started to work it's way up and over my head (exactly like an anesthesia I had been given before an operation to put me back together after a bike wreck). I knew I had only seconds before it worked it's way to my forehead (and that was curtains), but luckily a friend ran a gas station in that block, which is where I spent the next hour or so drinking coffee before I was anywhere near back to normal.
Goldschlauger..Sorry about the spelling but it almost killed me literally, although I drank a .750ml in under an hour after being awake for over 1 week on dope so I had zero food to absorb,so I don't know if this really counts as the circumstances were very extreme. Here recently I drank a .750ml bottle of kettle one and a 6 pack of beer in around 6-7 hour's that turned me into a complete asshole.I usually don't drink like that anymore but all this damn isolation has me looking around like "Why not"A stupid way of thinking as the next day the way everyone looked at me reminded me "Oh ya that's why you don't drink like this anymore"
For me it was Whiskey. Any dark hard liquor was my kryptonite. But with Tequila...although it wasnt my favorite taste wise...game over if I drank tequila.
For the record depression and or anxiety got me drunk the fastest didn't matter what the alcohol and i don't know how this thread is helpful to anyone...
My thoughts exactly when I saw the alert that you had posted ..actually I thought ( I wonder why Joshstillclean would ask such a question ..I he did start the thread )? I also see who it can be ,kinda interesting to see what others opinions were concerning what messed them up the fastest. Tho I hope they have put that crap down by now and yes it's hard to stop drinking . GD
I truly wish that you could stop drinking especially fast and hard as you describe BUT I am not judging you for drinking, as I still take substances to feel better. I wish you the best True concern as I'm truly concerned. LOL Pun , Intended LOL Crazy Davers Out 'for now'.
I have put away the alcohol @Davers as the last few time's I drank it took me back to the reason I quit in the first place.I have been doing alot of praying and pacing in it's place,I have learned my lesson especially after the run in with Covid-19, I was drinking that night but honestly I was trying to help a homeless man and boom Covid-19. Stay Strong and God Bless you
