I'll join in the apologies that you didn't find what you were looking for here. I personally came here with 12 years clean having recovered from being an IV heroin user as well, to offer exactly experience, strength and hope to anyone at any point in recovery. Not everyone has the same view of this journey, and it's different depending where you are on that path.

if you are still visiting this forum at all, i'm happy to discuss anything with you, please don't hesitate to drop a line.

sending you love, light and strength, Jay

Not every forum, group or meeting is going to give you what you want or need. I think you probably have attended a few that were not helpful. I am sorry you didn't get what you came for, but people here generally try their best to be supportive. Not every group is gonna speak to every person. I wish you luck and I hope you find what you need.

Take what you want and leave the rest. If you don't find what you're looking for here, then move on.

Hi Jay likewise sorry to hear that comments dissapoint you but you know what when I came into recovery 4 year's ago I was sooo pissed off at a lot of what I heard but it didn't kill me it made me stronger and in hindsight a lot of the comments I really needed to hear it couldn't see that at the time but you bet I do maybe I suggest you focus on the positive feedback and store the negative stuff to digest later on in your recovery in really hope you don't throw in the towel just because of some negative comments if I had it certainly wouldn't be typing this now. Good luck with your recovery xxx
